WHAT IS CBT?
Cognitive behaviour therapy is a
form of psychotherapy which helps
you recognise and change any
unhelpful thoughts which may be
contributing to you feeling
stressed, anxious or upset.
WHAT CAN CBT HELP WITH?
Cognitive behaviour therapy is
helpful for a range of emotional
problems including the following:
•
Depression
•
Trauma
•
Low self esteem
•
Stress
•
Health Anxiety
•
OCD
HOW DOES CBT WORK?
The aim of cognitive behaviour
therapy is to enable you to become
your own therapist. During the CBT
sessions the therapist helps you to
understand the nature of your
difficulties, and will then guide you
in developing the skills to be able
to change some of the processes
of your problem so that you can
manage it more effectively and
eventually overcome it.
REMOTE CBT
I am based within Derby but I am
currently providing CBT remotely
using Wellola. I can also use Zoom
if this would be more convenient
for you.
Remote therapy means that you
can access therapy from the
comfort of your own home.
